I have a question. I do believe as I read it, the Macon tracks folks (if you run the 50K?) gets their fee waived? But if you do the marathon or half etc, its 5.00 off? Just making sure so when I mail it it, I do it right :)

Thanks!

I just read the race entry form and Kevin's put on there that Macon Tracks members get 100% discount. What a deal! Thanks, Kevin! :bighug:

Wow, Kevin is going to get us all spoiled. It was already the best racing deal in Georgia - without any discount. Thanks, Kevin!

That being said, I think I'm going to send in $5.00 anyway to help with the amazing aid station and tasty finisher gingerbread men!

It was the perfect day for a run at Bartram Forest - what a contrast from last year! We really liked the new and improved course. Sophie rode along on her mountain bike and did a full loop with Dave and me running along behind. I would have liked to have run more, it was such a pretty day, but didn't think I should push it since I'm in recovery mode. There was an amazing spread with homemade peanut butter cookies, Rice Krispie treats, FM's fabulous fudge, grilled cheese sandwiches, and more. Many thanks to Kevin for putting on such a friendly race and thanks to all the volunteers, too. I'm looking forward to next year's race already!

Yes, that was once of the most enjoyable and laid back race I've ever participated in. We loved the course and the yummy homemade food. Thanks to the volunteers and everyone that made the event happen. We will be there next year, and dare I say... attempt the Marathon distance!

The race was fun as always. Thanks for the uber bag! love it and the stuff inside. The food this year was even better than last year, and glad I got to eat some stuff this time! Loved those taters!!!!

I will be editing the video to put together as well as the photos Richard took so I will try to share that with anyone that may want it. I need your email addy Jerome or I can send to Bonnie but Richard got some of you and I have some of Andrew and a few others, other than myself. We were in Calloway Gardens last night for the lights (got a video too!) and had a great Christmas party but glad Im home.

I did 15.10 miles at Bartram in 3 hrs 44 mins, faster times than last year so woot! Again, thanks for a great race, I so enjoy this one each year and so glad we had awesome weather this time!

Donna - you can upload videos to the Macon Tracks photo site for everyone to see. Here's a funny one from our family SmugMug photo site:

You can't see it, but Sophie put a "26.2" bumper sticker on her Little Tykes car :-D .

An even better video would have been of Liam getting himself into the car. :-D

The file is too big for this Smugmug we have so I will email it to myself and anyone that wants it, can email me at Vlandyra@aol.com. Just let me know you want the bartram trails video. I will put on the Huffin for Stuffin one, its short.

Okay, I just checked and it says the file size limit for videos is 600 MB. You won't be able to e-mail that to anyone. Maybe do a lower resolution or split it into part 1 and part 2?
