Gator-Go 5K Cancelled Macon, 9:30 am Mercer fraternity Kappa Sigma is organizing this third annual Gator-Go 5K to benefit the Military Heroes Campaign. Proceeds go towards providing shelter for the families of military hospital patients. The race will be held on the Mercer campus and surrounding areas. $15 before March 12th ($14 for Macon Tracks members), $20 on race day. Edge Fitness 5K Bonaire, 8 am Macon Tracks member and Edge Fitness General Manager Tracey Eubanks is organizing this inaugural race with proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald house. These donations will do everything from putting a roof over parents’ heads while their child is staying in a nearby hospital, to diagnosing scoliosis in a young child without access to health care and getting them the help they need. Pre-registration ends Mar. 20th and there is a $10 no-shirt option. |

Share the Path 5K and 1-MileDublin This race will be held at Laurens Baptist Association in Dublin and will be a cross-country race. Entry is free if you sign up before March 21. Entry does not include a t-shirt, but a commemorative t-shirt will be available for a donation of $15 or more. Proceeds from the race will be split between the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Summer Sports Camp in Laurens County and the Laurens Baptist Food and Cloth Ministry Centers. |

William's Walk With a Vision Fort Valley, 9:30-11:00 Not a race, but a way to support Macon Tracks member Roscoe Douglas, whose 5-year-old grandson has a genetic condition that causes a slow deterioration of sight. This 5K run/walk will benefit the Foundation for Retinal Research in their mission to find treatments and cures for retinal degenerative diseases. A finish line celebration, refreshments, & child friendly activities follow the walk. The event will be held at Lane Southern Orchards. Moonlight Miles 5K Macon, Saturday evening race Get ready to run, walk, jog, skip, or hop yourself silly as the 3rd Annual Moonlight Miles 5K race kicks off on May 1st. The route begins at Tatnall Square Park and runs through beautiful in-town Macon to Poplar Street and back to the park. This year the race will be held in conjunction with the 1st annual Macon Cycling Classic bike race. |

Uptown Rotary Ocmulgee Adventure Race Macon, 7:00 am - 8:30 am Check in The Uptown Rotary Ocmulgee Adventure Race (U-ROAR) includes both a 4-hour sprint and an 8-hour extended adventure race to challenge both beginners and elites. Both races feature paddling, mountain biking, river swimming, and hiking/trekking with navigation throughout.
