Peach Festival
Georgia Peach Festival 5K & 1-mile
Race Series Logo Fort Valley, 7:30 am, fun run at 8:45

This 27th annual race features a course that's fast, flat, and scenic, taking you through the historic district of Fort Valley.  $100 cash prize to 1st overall male and female.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series and the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

This race is organized by Southside Baptist Church to benefit the student ministries.  The race features tech shirts and chip timing.

Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series 5K & 1-mile
Perry, 8:00 a.m.

Join the herd & lace up your running shoes for a 5K & 1 Mile Run/Walk at the Chick-fil-A Connect Race Series of Perry, GA. This race will include chip timing, a sanctioned and certified course, dri-fit shirts, and a chance to win Chick-fil-A for a year.  Compete in SPEED (run fast) or compete in SPIRIT (dress up like a cow) to win awesome prizes. Summer Splash 5K & 1-mile
Griffin, 5K at noon, 1-mile at 11:00 a.m.

This race will be held at Crescent Elementary School and benefits the Campbell family, parents of twins, Ariana and Adriana.  Weighing just over 3 pounds, the girls were born 31 weeks early, and Ariana is currently battling Sickle Cell at Egleston Children’s Health Care of Atlanta.  The course is stroller-friendly and will be on suburban roads in Griffin.  Racers get drenched each mile!  Just $10 for ages 12 and under.
July 13th

Make It By Midnight Marathon & Half-Marathon
Macon, start time varies

Marathon Maniacs Andrew Strickland and Deborah Botkin organize this unique event.  Plan to finish this race as close to midnight as possible without going over.  If you finish before midnight, you get a tiara, and if you finish after midnight, you get a pumpkin.  Estimate your expected completion time and record the time when you start running.  Bring reflective clothing and a flashlight for after it gets dark.  Register early, as the field is limited to 175 participants and closes out quickly.

This event will be held at the Jones County High School track.  Runners get a glow-in-the-dark t-shirt and a glow necklace to start.  Runners collect a glow bracelet for each lap they can run in 60 minutes – to celebrate 60 years of mentoring through Big Brothers Big Sisters.  Part of the Glow for Kids' Sake Run Series.

Race Series Logo Jim Herrin Memorial 5K & 10K
Warner Robins, 7:30 am (1-mile fun run at 8:15)

The Robins Pacers sponsor this race each year as a memorial to the late Jim Herrin, past president of the Robins Pacers.  The proceeds of this race will be split evenly to fund two annual one-time scholarships for a senior boy and a girl graduating from a high school in Houston County who has significant track and field and/or cross-country participation and college ambitions.   The entry fee is $18 before August 3rd and only $12 for age 19 and under any time.  This race is part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series and is also a Run & See Georgia race. 
August 17th Missions Possible 5K & Fun Run
Lizella, 8:00 a.m.

This 2nd annual race will be held at Lizella Baptist Church and proceeds will help raise money to send kids on mission trips throughout the world.  The course is out-and-back and fast.  Come out and enjoy a great race and homemade awards.

Running With The Braves 5K & Fun Run
Milledgeville, 5K at 8:00 a.m., Fun Run to follow

This 2nd annaul race will take place at Oak Hill Middle School in Milledgeville, with the proceeds going to the Baldwin Football Team.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

Harmony Run for the Son 5K & Fun Run
Forsyth, 7:00 p.m.

Join First Baptist Church of Forsyth for an evening race to raise money for the Monroe/Forsyth Habitat for Humanity. The course will carry each runner by the Habitat Village which has several homes already constructed and occupied, with plans for 3 more to be added in the near future.  There will also be a carb-loading fund raiser supper on Friday, August 23rd from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

This race will be held at the National Fair and Agricenter.

Old Capitol City Classic 5K & fun run
Milledgeville, 7:30 a.m. 1-mile, 8:00 a.m. 5K

The start/finish of this 5th annual race will be held at the Oconee Regional Medical Center and will be run on paved streets in and around the hospital campus.   Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix and the Black Bag Race Series.

This race starts at the New Perry Hotel and benefits RiteCare (clinics that help children with speech and language disorders).

Macon Labor Day Road Race
Race Series Logo 37th Annual Macon Labor Day Road Race 5K, 10K, & Fun Run
Macon, 8:00 5K, 8:30 10K, 9:45 am Fun Run

The annual Macon Labor Day tradition features a fast point-to-point course, gender-specific wicking shirts, and a family-friendly atmosphere.  For even more fun, enter the Parent & Child, Husband & Wife, or Team of 5 competition.  The courses are USATF certified and can be used as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier for next year.  Walkers are welcome to do the 5K.  There will be sno cones, cotton candy, inflatables, music and more at the park after the race, so bring the whole family.  This is a Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Series Race and also part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

Race Series LogoRace for Camp Little Shot 5K & 2-Mile Walk
Macon, 9:00 am

Directed by Elizabeth and Tom Jones, proceeds benefit Camp Little Shot, a free camp for children with diabetes.  The awards are made by the children at camp and are always creative.  This year the race will feature dry-fit shirts.    Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix and the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.
Sept. 14th 6 Hours of Dauset Trail Run
Jackson - 10:00 AM

The 6 Hours of Dauset Trail Run consists of a 5-6 mile lap that is run as many times as possible over a six hour period. Runners may compete solo or on teams of 2, 3, or 4.
Sept. 15th Dauset Trails Dirty Duathlon Off Road Duathlon
Jackson - 9:00 AM

This off road duathlon will feature a 2 mile trail run, 10 mile mountain bike, and 2 mile trail run. Solo and two person team divisions will be available. A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to Dauset Trails Nature Center for upkeep of their facilities and trail system.

Tunnel to Towers Run
Perry, 9:30 a.m.

This run, held at various locations across the country in honor of Stephen Siller, FDNY, who died on 9/11, raises money to help children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.

 Dandy Walker Alliance 5K and Fun Run
Macon, 8:00 a.m.

This 3rd annual race will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church.  Proceeds benefit the Dandy Walker Alliance.  Dandy Walker is a brain malformation affecting coordination, cognition, and balance.

 Retro Night Glow 5K, 10K, & Fun Run
Macon, 1-mile at 7:30 p.m., 10K at 8:00 p.m., 5K at 8:10 p.m.

This 4th annual race begins at the Northway Church on Zebulon Road.  All proceeds benefit families affected by medical illness.  The race features chip timing and team competitions.  There will be a 70's/80's band, kids activities, and raffle.   Luminarias will line the course.  Cash prizes for the best 70's/80's costumes.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.
Oct. 26th Central Georgia Board of Realtors 5K & 1-mile
Warner Robins, 8:30 a.m.

This race benefits the Ronald McDonald House and Wounded Warrior Project.  The course is flat and fast and there will be a Halloween costume contest.

S.C.A.R.E. 5K & Costume Fun Run
Macon, 5K at 7:00 p.m., Fun Run at 6:15 p.m.

This event will be held at the Hephzibah Children's Home from 7 to 9 p.m. The course will be lit with luminarias and there will be a live DJ.  The race features cash prizes, tech shirts, and inflatables for the kids, plus a costume contest for kids participating in the fun run.  Sponsored by Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants, proceeds from this event will be used to purchase AED's to donate to local community organizations.

Proceeds from this 2nd annual race will provide basic resources to students in need at Mary Persons High School.

Central Georgia Soccer Association Turkey Trot 5K
Warner Robins, 8:00 a.m.

Central Georgia Soccer Association (CGSA) is committed to the development and growth of soccer throughout Central Georgia. This race will be held at the CGSA soccer complex.  All proceeds will go towards supporting growth and development in the youth programs, funding soccer scholarships for underprivileged families, and performing timely repairs to the extensively used soccer fields. 
Dec. 14th Let the Praises Ring 5K
Centerville

This race will be held at the First Baptist Church of Centerville. The race benefits the Flint River FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes).
