Bookin' It 5K & Fun Run
Macon, 5K at 8:00 a.m., Fun Run at 8:45 a.m.

This race starts at Wesleyan College and is sponsored by the Junior League of Macon.
Feb. 11th

Race Series Logo Sweetheart Run for Sight 5K & 12K
Centerville, 8:00 a.m.

This race is sponsored by the Centerville Lions Club and organized by the Robins Pacers.  The race begins and ends at the Galleria Mall.  Proceeds will help provide eye examinations and eyeglasses for those in need.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series and the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.
Feb. 11th

Heart Hustle 5K & 1 mile
Griffin, Fun Run at 8:30 a.m., 5K at 9:00

Proceeds benefit Futral Road Elementary School. Discounted entry fees for kids and families.  Early registration ends Jan. 27th.  Griffin is about an hour's drive northwest from Macon.
Feb. 18th
Race Series Logo Al Toll Masters 15K & Open 5K
Macon, 9 am

If you're over 40, enjoy a chance to run a scenic, rolling 15K without having to trip over all those fast young people!  If you're not yet 40, or if you're over 40 and don't want to run that far, come run the 5K!  Macon Tracks members receive $1 off the entry fee and earn points in the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series and in the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.
Feb. 25th
Race Series LogoCantrell Center 5K
Warner Robins, 8:30 a.m. 5K, 9:15 1-mile fun run

This 4th annual race is sponsored by the Cantrell Center for Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine and offers chip timing.  There are cash prizes for the top 3 overall and 1st master winners.  It's a Run and See Georgia Grand Prix race and also part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.

Macon, 9 am

This will be the 29th anniversary of the GEICO race with proceeds benefitting Special Olympics.  The 5K is flat and fast.  It's only $15 if you pre-register ($1 less for Macon Tracks members) and kids 19 and under run for just $10.  There's even a $5 off no-shirt option.   GEICO sponsors a lot of the races in Middle Georgia including the Macon Labor Day Road Race.  Help them help Special Olympics and have a great time in the process.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.  Members registering online can use code MTRC1 to get their discount.
March 10th
Race Series LogoForsythia Festival 5K & Fun Run
Forsyth, 8:00 am

The race course is a scenic loop around the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and there's a big indoor room to stay warm in before and after the race.  Register before Feb. 22nd and pay only $15 ($14 for Macon Tracks members), plus you get a long-sleeved t-shirt.  Consider staying for the Forsythia Festival afterward.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.  Click here for more information and to register online.
March 10th

Gator Gallup 5K
Kathleen, 8:00 a.m.

This 3rd annual race will be held at Mossy Creek Middle School.  Get the whole family out and take advantage of the $60 family rate.  All race proceeds are given back to the school and used to provide instructional supplies needed for students.
March 17th Race Series Logo For the Love of Kratos
Macon, 8:00 a.m.

This 2nd annual race will be held at Mt. Zion Church and will benefit local animal shelters.  Supply donations will be accepted as well.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix and the Clover Glove and Black Bag race series.

Leprechaun Road Race 5K, 10K, & 1-Mile
Dublin, Fun Run at 8:00 a.m., 5K & 10K at 8:30 a.m.

This 36th annual race starts at Dublin High School and benefits King's Cleft Children's Home, CASA, and Laurens Youth Leadership.  $70 max per family if you pre-register by March 16th.
March 20th
The International Home Run Run

This "race" can take place anywhere you like.  Run 3.1 miles on March 20th, submit your time, and you will be ranked with other participants in your age group.  All proceeds will be donated to 4-H to support students.  Part of the Clover Glove, Black Bag, and Run & See Georgia Grand Prix series.
March 24th

Race Series LogoCherry Blossom Road Race 5K, 10K, & 1-Mile
Macon, 5K & 10K at 8:15 a.m., 1-Mile Run/Walk at 9:15 a.m.

Held during the Cherry Blossom Festival, this race is organized by Macon Tracks member Tom Adrien to benefit Wesley Glen Ministries, an organization that serves adults with mental disabilities.  The course will start at Howard Middle School and will be an out-and-back among the horse farms and estates along Rivoli Drive.  The race is part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series and the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.
March 31st All About Animals Rescue Run 5K & 1K Fun Run
Macon, 8:30 a.m.
Race Series Logo
Proceeds from the race will help fund All About Animals Rescue, a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter located in Macon.  The race will be held at Mt. Zion Church.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.

No Excuse for Child Abuse 5K & 10K
Warner Robins, 5K & 1-mile at 8:30 a.m., 10K at 9:30 a.m.

This race will be held at Middle Georgia Technical College and benefits Rainbow House Children's Resource Center.  There will be a bouncy house for the kids.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.
April 7th

This 2nd annual "run to end Alzheimer's" will be held at Landing Pointe Shopping Center.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series and the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.
April 7th

William's Walk With a Vision
Fort Valley, 9:00

Proceeds from this 4th annual 5K run/walk will benefit the CRB1 fund (Curing Retinal Blindness is 1st Priority).  Chip timing will be provided.  Refreshments & child friendly activities will be available after the race.  The event will be held at Lane Southern Orchards.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.
April 14th

Macon

Mercer fraternity Kappa Sigma is organizing this race to benefit the Military Heroes Campaign.  Proceeds go towards providing shelter for the families of military hospital patients.  The race will be held on the Mercer campus and surrounding areas.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.

The race benefits Lauren's Baptist Association Ministry Centers (food and clothes bank) & Summer Sports Camps.  The 6K and 9K are certified.  Part of the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.

Central Ga. Technical College Challenge 5K
Milledgeville, 10:00 a.m.

This 2nd annual race benefits college scholarships at CGTC.  The race is part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

Celebration Day Brannen Ford 5K
Macon, 9:00

Proceeds benefit the Methodist Home for Children & Youth.  The Methodist Home is  located at 304 Pierce Avenue.

Warner Robins, 5K at 8:00 a.m., 1 Mile at 9:30 a.m.

This 3rd annual race starts at Christ United Methodist Church.  The race is part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

Race Series Logo Taylor County Race for Literacy 5K
Reynolds, 8:00 a.m.

Reynolds, Georgia is just 40 miles south of downtown Macon, west of Fort Valley.  This 5th annual race will benefit literacy programs in Taylor County.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix and the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.  Bring your family and enjoy the Georgia Strawberry Festival events after the race.  
April 28th
Oasis 5K & 1-mile
Macon, 9:00 a.m.

This 2nd annual race will be held at Wesleyan College and will benefit the Africa Oasis Project, helping to create adequate, safe water supplies in Africa.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

April 28th Journey Race for Autism 5K
Forsyth, 8:00 a.m.

This 1st annual trail race will be held at Daysprings Presbyterian Church.  The race will be followed by the 3rd Annual Autism Awareness Festival with craft and food vendors plus inflatables.
May 12th

Byron, 8:00 a.m.

Organized by the Robins Pacers, this race is "a little uphill, and a little downhill!"  The race begins in the Municipal Complex in Byron and is part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series and the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

Bonaire, 8:00 a.m.

This 3rd annual race, organized by Macon Tracks member and Edge Fitness General Manager Tracey Eubanks, benefits the International Justice Mission.  There will be $150 cash prize to the 1st overall male and female winners.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.
May 19th

Juanita June Foundation Youth 5K & 1-mile
Centerville, 9 a.m. 5K, 9:45 1-mile

This race benefits the Juanita June Foundation, which was founded to raise awareness about diabetes.  It will be held at the Galleria Mall.  Prizes will be given for 3 age groups: 7-10, 11-14, & 15-18. $30 registration fee.
May 26th

Lt. Col.(Ret.) Melvin T. Ingram Memorial 5K
Milledgeville, 8:00 a.m.

This 1st annual race will benefit a scholarship fund in memory of two brothers who died of cardiovascular disease, Willie R. (Bill) Ingram, Jr. and Lt. Col. (Ret.) Melvin T. Ingram USMC.  The course begins at the Board of Education and will be run on school ground roads.  Part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

Old Capital Triathlon
Milledgeville, 7:00 a.m.

This sprint triathlon consists of a 500-yard swim, 14-mile bike, and 5K run. It's organized by Georgia Multi-Sports Productions.
June 2nd
Rock 'n Roll logo
Rock 'n Roll Half-Ironman, Sprint Triathlon, Duathlon, & 10K
Macon (Lake Tobesofkee)

The Coliseum Health System's Rock 'N Roll Man moves into its 9th year in 2012.  The sprint distance is great for newbies and kids.  If you don't like to swim, you can sign up for the duathlon.  You also can get a team together to capitalize on everyone's strengths.  This is a great local event and lots of fun.
June 2nd

Deep South XTerra 5K/15K Trail Run
Jackson

The race will be held at Dauset Trails. The race will start in an open field (required for spacing) but will soon lead into the woods. The terrain is made up of a little bit of everything, rolling hills, climbs, single track, double track, roots, gravel and concrete drive along with some technical sections. The course is beautiful and offers something for every runner.

Make It My Midnight
Make It By Midnight Marathon & Half-Marathon

Marathon Maniacs Andrew Strickland and Deborah Botkin organize this unique event.  Plan to finish this race as close to midnight as possible without going over.  If you finish before midnight, you get a tiara, and if you finish after midnight, you get a pumpkin.  Estimate your expected completion time and record the time when you start running.  Bring reflective clothing and a flashlight for after it gets dark.  Register early, as the field is limited to 150 participants and closes out quickly.  Part of the Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Race Series.

Race Series Logo36th Annual Macon Labor Day Road Race 5K/10K/Fun Run
Macon, 8:00 5K, 8:30 10K, 9:45 am Fun Run

This annual Macon Labor Day tradition features a fast point-to-point course, gender-specific wicking shirts, and a family-friendly atmosphere.  For even more fun, enter the Parent/Child, Husband/Wife, or Team of 5 competition.  The courses are USATF certified and can be used as a Peachtree Road Race qualifier for next year.  Walkers are welcome to do the 5K.  There will be sno cones, cotton candy, inflatables, music and more at the park after the race, so bring the whole family.  This is a Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Series Race and also part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.

Macon, 8:00 a.m.

This 2nd annual race will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church.  Proceeds benefit the Dandy Walker Alliance.  Dandy Walker is a brain malformation affecting coordination, cognition, and balance.

S.C.A.R.E. 5K & Costume Walk
Macon, 5K at 7:00 p.m., Costume Walk at 7:15 p.m.

This event will be held at Wesleyan College from 6 to 9 p.m. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall male and female, plus Master, Grand Master and Great Grand Master. Bring your kids for the costume walk; 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards for the scariest, funniest, cutest, and most unique costumes. Sponsored by Georgia Arrhythmia Consultants, this event is intended to increase community awareness of sudden cardiac arrest and support the need for automated external defibrillator placement in schools and other public places as well as community education regarding basic life support training.

Race Series LogoJay's Hope Trek or Treat 5K & Fun Run
Macon, 5K at 9:00 a.m.

This race will be held at Bass Pro Shops.  Runners of all ages are encouraged to run in costume.  Proceeds benefit the Jay’s Hope Foundation, helping families with children who have cancer.  The Jay's Hope race is a Macon Tracks Piedmont Sports Medicine Series Race and also part of the Run & See Georgia Grand Prix.  Stay for the pancake breakfast and family fall festival afterward.
